Issue on the old sim itself so will have to get newer sim card with a sim swop.

Have to do the same on my dad's old MTN sim as he is now using the S2

Sigh, guess I'll just have to drop the R135 then. Thanks.

I got a new SIM when I renewed my contract via MTN Direct which I didn't use. Can I use that SIM and SIM Swop my old one?

Test the new SIM to see if it picks up your APN settings and then just port your number to the new SIM if it works?

I'm looking to sell my S2 soon for about R1900 does anyone know where I can sell it or know of anyone interested? I'm in the joburg area.

I just want to meet the pay-in amount for my upgrade

I'll gladly take it off your hands. What condition is it in?

So here is my current cycle I am on.
Took SS of all details I think is needed.

Used ES file explorer to listen to some audio books before I went to bed.
Used power amp for music to and from uni.
WhatsApp pretty much throughout the day.
TapaTalk while on commute.
AirDroid when I got home to copy some files.
Mail syncing
Maps used briefly to demonstrate a few things to a buddy.

Let me know if you want more details, I am still on this cycle. (I seldom charge my batter 100% and depleat it close to 0%. So I cant always get meaningful stats)

I <3 my S2 even more ever since I flashed AllianceROM and got the 2000mAh battery. :D

It looks like my six hours screen on time on official Jellybean ROM will stay the benchmark.

Anybody having problems charging the battery? With mine it seems to be linked to the port on the phone. The slightest movement on the cable and the charging stops. (New) battery is totally flat more often than semi-charged these days :(

Sounds like your cable is damaged.

Have you tried charging your S2 with another cable?

Right here is an update Used from 100% to this...
Awesome battery life :)

Refer to my previous posts in this thread for details.

Not sure.....will have to check & report back.

How's your new Nexus phone?

Ugh, haven't ordered it yet. Have a few financial headaches that I need to take care of currently :o

BUT- it has meant that I can wait until after I/O, and see if a larger capacity version comes out (highly doubt it though).

Still loving my S2, and really am in two minds over replacing it...

Think they might officially announce the LTE Nexus 4 at Google I/O.

Some say they might give us a shock surprise and introduce the Nexus 5.

All I know is that the Nexus 5 can't be far away & that it will be a Motorola this time. Or maybe Sony? :)

Google did mention that the Motorola X phone won't be a Nexus device. I would love it if Sony made a Nexus...

HTC, Samsung & LG all had a turn....so who is left? Sony, Huawei, ZTE....can't think of more. :(

If it's a Sony, Google will have to start making early preparations for the havoc on launch day. :)
