Still the 480 x 800 screen res? No man!

Yeah, a bit peeved by that, but hey my DHD's got a 480 x 800 screen and I'm loving it :)
Another setback on the Galaxy S2 would be Samsungs Touchwiz... I would totally prefer HTC's sense over all else!
Just the blerry thing is becoming too heavy for me...
everytime I pick up the wife's feather-like IPod Touch, I start to think about what the Galaxy S2 would feel like!

Yeah, I watched the Galaxy 2 videos on YouTube, but Touchwiz just looks as butt-ugly as ever.....Sense 3.0 on the HTC Evo 3D looks simply jaw-droppingly good.

Quality will always feel a bit heavy, but so worth it. I always appreciate it when standing at the urinal. :p

LoL, good thing I dont use public toilets then!
So do you think the Galaxy S II will have some crazy guys develop a Sense 3.0 rom for it :) It's free to dream!

They might, as some crazy guys have designed a Sense port for the iPhone (jailbreak). Looks actually very cool on the iPhone, but always best on a HTC Android phone. ;)

I have the Galaxy Tab. Have to say the process involved with rooting and running custom roms has me jaded.

Havent delved into it either with my DHD... but I know that I'll be going for a Galaxy S2 in a few months, so dont want to compromise on warranty, etc for the future user of my DHD. I think the Galaxy S2 will be a long term phone for me...

NOOB QUESTION ALERT: yeah, thought I'd ask you guys cos I trust you peeps :)
I've never taken out a contract as yet... so when the Galaxy S2 comes out on lets say Vodacom, is there an option where they deliver the phone to your door? I'm not one for running around from branch to branch :(

Yes, it's called Retentions. Vodacom and MTN both have a Retentions department.

tnx a mil! will check it out closer to the time the Galaxy S2 comes out :) but for now gotta go watch the madrid vs barca game!

After the dhd I'm very scared/afraid of big screen smartphones. Battery last only only up to 5pm with moderate use on the dhd. When we plan to go out for the evening I have to charge the phone for a hour or two before we leave the house or it will not last for the evening. Not good enough, hope the galaxy S2 has a better battery.

Dual core processors use less power. Plus, it's an AMOLED screen, which also uses less power. The Desire HD's battery is pathetically small.
