Good to know. Haven't tried the camera out yet, will do so when I pop into Sandton City later...

It is amazing. Oversaturation included. I have not seen a better screen on any other device. And I was really impressed by the air gestures.

I dunno. From my (albeit limited) time with it, it felt like a massive upgrade in all respects compared to the S3. It's the first time I had a wow moment with a phone since the iPhone 5 (even the Xperia Z left me feeling a bit "meh").

The iPhone 5 wowed you?:eek:

So there is no issues like what languages are preloaded and radio/modem configuration that might not work correctly in SA?

Nope.

Should be fine. I've run the previous Nordic XWLSN fine on Vodacom, and the latest XWLSS shares the same baseband (modem) version XXMS2.

Sorry if this has been asked before... But does anyone know where in Joburg one could buy the extended battery kit or even an official stock battery (at reasonable prices)? Or online, but preferably from an SA site. Thank youuuuuuu :)

Best is to have a look at the DionWired branches, MTN shops, Samsung shops.....

I'm sure you will find one! :)

OK, I will keep trying then untill I get it right. lol

You most probably will be trying for the rest of your life. :p

If you're running JellyBean on your S2, you'll realize that it's the only smartphone you'll ever need.

Yes, there are much fancier phones out there, much bigger, much faster, but I am more than happy with my S2.

Deciding if I should go prepaid later this year & get rid of the contracts.

This is the very first phone I'm truly happy with. I have zero complaints, it handles everything I throw at it and it is build like a tank.

Couldn't agree more!

And the JellyBean ROM's call quality is outstanding.

All my calls on the Vodacom network is crystal clear & just the way I like it.
