Try zooming in further. The thing doesn't draw the streets until you zoom in to almost "on top" of them
That said, I accidentally deleted my maps and had to re-download, so yes - you CAN re-download them again to your SD card afterwards.
I'm still waiting for mine as well, also been about 3 weeks

Does anyone know how to hide videos from the gallery? installed a few games that contain .mp4 videos which are annoying to see in the gallery. I tried the .nomedia route, but that didn't work.

Else you can install audio manager. Its an app that looks like an audio manager but hides pics vids etc. If rooted can hide apps aswell...

If you removed/changed the SD card that was supplied with the phone, and did not copy the maps you need to do that. The maps are stored on the SD card supplied with the phone.
