Thats like asking "Whats the best cool drink?"

Flash -> Test ->Reflash -> Test -> Reflash

Even when you find one you like, like lite'ning for me, you will still wanna flash, just out of curiosity!!

When I flash a new phone for the first time, I go with the ROM that had the most views (read popular).
Once I feel comfortable with flashing my new phone, I start the backup, flash, sometimes restore cycle until I find the ROM that I like the best.

Well joy, I ordered this dongle jig for $5 and the next day the price drops to $2 from the same seller :P ffs. http://www.ebay.com/itm/250863744070?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649 Not going to break the bank hehe, but thought I'd post a link up in case anyone was looking to get one, and moan at the same time.

Anyway, ordered the jig and that Neo case as I've ordered my S2. I remember reading through this thread a while back and noted that I needed a dongle. Can't remember why now though :D

Been a week since I ordered my S2 through MTN. Not a word yet on the progress, following up on it is a mission.

How and where can I upload and post a link to a pic/photo on this site?

I'm using MTN as service provider, is it normal for the network type to be 'EDGE'? Shouldn't it be 3G or HSPA or something?

After installing a new Rom, you must charge to 100%, then reboot into CWM and clear battery stats. This is to calibrate the battery. Then give your phone a few charge cycles (2 or 3 days normal use) for it to settle down. Only then will you get an accurate idea of battery life.

It is now 19h11 which is nearly 12 hours since I took my phone off charge and I have exactly 62% left. Been using it quite a lot since I got home just over 2 hours ago.

Also consider getting an app like Tasker. You can use it switch hardware on or off depending on events.
Ie: one of the configs I have setup switches my bluetooth on when wifi disconnects, then off again when wifi reconnects.
You can manage any aspect of your phone. It helps with battery.

Hope this helps dude.

My battery usage, was on 20% so it could've went on for a bit more.
Stock ROM
Un-rooted
Wifi on when needed.
Mobile data always on.
WhatsApp and G-Talk always on.
About fifteen short calls and ten sms's.
Display brightness on automatic.
No tasker or advanced task killer, just common sense.
:)
