I went straight from 2.3.3 to custom 2.3.5 without problem

Read up - bokka1 just flashed it and it is non-wipe. I will be doing it later today.

busy d/ling CheckRom v5, which has the latest 2.3.5 and will be flashing it when done, got me phone charging, think about half hour to go and BOOOM will be flashing it.
FYI, if anyone is gonna try CRv5, its a FULL WIPE VERSION, so backup first

What kind of usage and how long did it last before? I'm on touch xtreme rom kh3 and it could last 2 days with moderate usage. If I use the phone more, easy to just plug her into my work laptop for a little breather to get 2 days

Hi everyone Slightly noob question...

If you download a wipe version of a ROM or firmware update, and you backup with Titanium Backup, does it backup not only your apps but also your contacts, emails, sms's? And then after the update/ROM is flashed you can restore those things (apps, messages, contacts etc) to the new update? i.e. you will have everything back but with the new update?

If indeed, do I have to root first in order to use Ti-Backup in order to backup before updating new ROM/update (if they are wipe versions)?

Quick tip I found online that has definitely improved my battery. Menu, settings, privacy, untick "back up my data". It has definitely helped alot.

Real improved or what the battery meter shows? Because it recalibrates after a discharge.

If it is real I must for defs try it out. My batt is abused so much that I get hardly 10 hours.

Battery life is definitely better with KI3. It was fully charged yesterday at 5pm. It's currently on 63%.
