No, phone is buggered too..

No insurance, just sent it in to repairs.. Cross fingers its cheap T_T

This is a very minor issue but being incredibly OCD it is starting to grate my nipples. I always sort out my icons like put all the games on one page and so on and so on, I click save but the moment I put my phone off and pack on EVERYTHING IS SHUFFLED AROUND. How can I fix that?

Used to have the same thing on gingerbread. I now use ADWLauncherEX and arrange things alphabetically instead. I have 130odd purchased apps so I couldn't be bothered grouping anymore! :p

Here's a great app! Say hi to Check Fus.

What Check Fus does, is to enable you to check for official firmwares when you're running a custom firmware on your S2, and then you can even grab the firmware from Samsung's servers with this beauty.

But of course: Sygic.

You get a free trial but you need to purchase the maps (lifetime updates) after and activate them on your account.

You can get the ZA maps for 32€.

Been using it for a while and love it. It uses TomTom maps, has a bunch of nifty features and the devs keep it updated and listen to any recommendations/suggestions customers have.

It has pretty much all the features of a standard GPS: you can set waypoints, navigate to coordinates, save to favourites, etc.

Only criticism that I have is that they haven't yet implemented "cloud storage" for Android (i.e. if you wipe your phone, you lose your Favourites list). Also, while the maps are spot on (thank you TomTom) the speed warnings are occasionally WAY off. For example, it tends to think that the odd 60 zone is a 120 zone.

But apart from that, everything is perfect. It also makes use of Google Local Search for helping find POIs. And when you start it up you can choose to connect online or not (solely for online POIs, etc).

The maps are completely 100% offline.

P.S. I love Sygic :D

yeah... co-pilot. It has maps, no need for data. It is EPIC, with lane assist etc etc...

Is there anyway I can root without using a USB cable? My port is buggered. And mobile Odin won't run because it needs root.

Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2 Beta-4

There are a few file you basically need to get onto your phone, so maybe you can email yourself the files and save on your phone. Check the thread about the easiest way to root your phone, there should be a link of where to get the files....

email or use wifi. If you have free data dl the files. Essentially all you need is the CM Kernel and clockworkmod :) Safe and easy. www.giyf.com (hehe, not being mean please, just always wanted to use that link hahah)

Hi guys.
Can somebody please help.
I installed android version 2.3.6 on my S2 but I want to get the CSC correct also.
*#272*<IMEI># code does not work.
It does not give me any options to select anything.
The other option would be to install South African CSC with odin but I can't find the CSC file.
All the link are for http://www.multiupload.com
They seen to be down/taken down.
Can somebody please, please, please give me a download link that is not hosted with multiuploads.

Any help or suggestions will be much appreciated.

Thanks.:)

Why bother with CSC? The ROM as is works fine. Only thing you get with CSC is bloatware.
