Maybe we could get a better idea of what you are doing wrong if you post all the steps in detail that you used when flashing the new Rom.
I have been told that I need to flash it with the same firmware that was on the phone I flashed it with a different version so I'm downloading the one that was on the phone previously, I'm using the exact same steps as stated by yourself in an earlier post!
Using the I9100XWLP7_I9100XEULP5_XEUI wasn't really sure which ROM you could use for your phone, but it turns out you can use any ROM, as long as your phone is a Samsung Galaxy S2.
However, a lot of the ROMs does not support South African English, so best to find a ROM with same firmware.
I only use the Dutch (XEN) firmware, cos both the Gingerbread and ICS ROMS work 100% on Vodacom.
