What was also weird was that my outgoing messages would get stuck until someone sent me a message, then I would change to mobile data as it was just flippen annoying.

I get it at home where the wifi seems to stick with one way traffic, then switches to mobile and back

IMO just get a film type screen protector and a good cover that covers the edges. Been doing it for many years and never had a screen crack. The screen protector protects against scratches and the cover protects against drops.

Indeed it is online, it just send notification to your phone and click and accept and use your fringerprint to approve.
This is huge time saver.
Normally I would need open fnb app get virtual card CVV code then use that to pay. I have to use virtual cards which changes cvv every hour for ebucks lol With samsung pay virtual card is allready linked and I can just approved it
