Thanks I got a pack of two plastic S3 covers from Cellucity today. Cost was R145.

Samsung store at vodaworld giving the covers for free as part of the purchase of the phone...are these covers at cellucity the official samsung ones?

Mine is white with galaxy s111 on the front. Dont know whether its official though.

That's the official one as far as I know, can't wait to get mine. If you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay for it?

the only thing that pisses me off is that after you have read a message (sms or email) the app still shows you that have an unread message. You have to reboot the phone to get rid of it

I see the CM9 nightly's is out. I'll wait a tad longer before flashing a new rom. With root + Apex I don't feel the need just yet, but I don't even wanna think how this phone will perform without all this crap that's pre-installed.

I run CM9 on all my devices. Nothing like it.

Read the related thread. You will have many more users there to get info from.

I don't personally have an S3 as I would rather upgrade from my Note to a Note 2. I follow this thread though cause I just love the Sammy Galaxy devices. You can bet you're @ss that CM9 would be on it if I had one though :)

Hmmm... I has a browse through the CM9 thread on XDA - reckon I will give it a month or so before I take the plunge.

Don't want to install something too experimental on my primary phone.

Got my S3 yesterday. Swapped out the launcher for ADW ex. Will give Apex a try.

Link for root method? There's a lot of S-Crap i'd like to remove.
