Samsung Galaxy S3

trying to decide between this and the HTC One S, coming from the HTC Desire, worried that this phone will be to big. How does it feel in the pocket :P ?
 
It feels fine in the pocket. You know it's there but it is so light that it doesn't bother you at all. The iPhone 4S with a iFace cover is a bit heavy but not too bad either.

Can you send a link? Are they the matt finish ones? Never had a screen protector on my HTC desire, but i think matt finish will be better for grease marks.

Anybody else have any screen protectors which they have purchased? I see expansys have the invisible shield ones, but from pics i have seen on the net they look like the ones i have on my other devices. And those ones have quite rubbery feel and are quite thick.

I got the S3 after having the desire..you'll love it and when you look at the desire again you wont believe how much smaller the desire feels in your hands...

I bought these. They are quite durable. And you dont even see them on your phone. They are like you touching the glass itself. I had them on my first galaxy and only ended up using two uo to this day.
 
Anyone used the video hub and S suggest functions already? I keep getting a server error when trying to use them..
 
So after 2 days I have a bit of feedback.

Phone is not perfect, but close :D

What irritates me is the position of the power button. I would prefer to have it at the top of the phone like the Desire. When you press the power button you tend to press the volume buttons at the same time since it's almost in the same line if you know what I mean.

Due to the thin curved shape it is not easy to hold at times and I can see a lot of people dropping them :p

I haven't used the phone too much, but charged it Saturday night and I still have just over 50% battery life (set to power saving mode), which is much better than I was expecting.

PS, all my Blackberry friends just want this phone :p

When are we getting pebble-blue in South Africa and more importantly, when are we getting 64gb version? The ones in store are only 16gb or 32gb? I'm due for upgrade, dying to pass on my S2 to my dad so I can get S3.

I had a desire HD which admittedly was bigger than the desire. The S3 is so light compared to the desire that I often thing I have forgotten it somewhere until I check my pocket. Its crazy how small this phone feels despite being so big.
 
I got a blue flip cover and some screen protectors. Now I'm just waiting for Vodacom Direct! :(
 
Just got my S3 over the weekend and I'm loving it. Maybe because I'm coming from a bb . Hahaha

Got body glove screen protector which also seems really cool.
 
ordered my Samsung Galaxy S3 today, they said it will take 3-5 working days. Can't wait! Coming from a HTC Desire.
