My god Omega v44 is terrible. What the hell has been going on with Indie this year? Omega isn't nearly as good as it used to be. I think I'm going back to stock. Sick and tired of tinkering to fix the crap that occurs with every firmware update.

What's wrong? It's the first of 4.2, so it's to be expected.

Every custom rom has something that isn't working. I also got tired having to use my phone around those limitations so I am sticking with stock rom.

The Omega rom is based on Saturn's leaked firmware. Far better support there as well.
I got in v44.1 today and so far it is very good. Just remember, if you are going to try it, do a full wipe. If you don't your contacts will not work, amongst other things.

I found out yesterday that sms does not work on the leaked 4.2.1. Don't use it.

I use MyBackup Pro. Titanium might be more popular, but MBP has the best interface, works just fine, has a useful toolbox for rooted users and doesn't require root to work.
