Is the Power Saving option enabled? I found that gave me issues.

Boot into recovery (with phone off press the power, home and volume up buttons at the same time) - you can reset to factory from there.
 
Ok well I should have a S3 by tomorrow. First change of phone brand I will have had since they launched the iPhone 3GS. Hoping its as awesome as it looks.

I'm interested to see how you adapt, I find myself pushing the standby button when changing the volume on my S3. That I picked up from the iPad though, my previous phone was a HTC Desire which had the buttons on the same side as Apple devices.

I am also interested, I have been a die hard iPhone fan since the 3G but finding myself getting bored. Being a bit of a tech freak I think I might like the new options in Android. Worst case scenario I just sell it. :p

I have the same cover but haven't dropped it yet... Thought the cover wouldn't help for that?

I'm hoping the iPhone 5 isnt that much better than the S3 otherwise I might too.

My only concern with the iPhone 5 is, yes they are most likely going to up the screen size, but the software remains a limitation. Even after jailbreaking its more of a hack to get the right apps to do the right things you want. They are not going to turn IOS on its head and give us something amazing, they are going to keep plodding along, slowly adding minimal feature after feature which for me sucks.

They're going to share the same processor. iPhone will have a smaller screen at a higher resolution. The rest we will wait and see!
 
anyone tried allshare between pc and S3 and got it working?

No offense, but why do you keep on harping about Allshare? It's utter shyte, probably the worst DLNA system I've ever had the misfortune of working with. Why not use BubbleUPnP (free) or Plex if you want metadata etc.. (Although the Plex for Android app is not free).
