Samsung Galaxy S3

I can not get it to work like my S2...

I have all share software of my pc, any advise on how to set it up on my phone?

Appology if it sounded like a outburst.... Just bit frustrated that i cant get it to work...

Any tips for setting it up?

I have wondows 7 running, home network set up, allshre pc software, all running fine to my tv's and blu ray, but cannot seems to get my S3....

driesd, what software do you have setup on your PC? You should be able to use either Windows Media Player or TVersity with ease.

EDIT: Sorry, missed your previous post. Will check on AllShare PC software.

driesd, looks like you might not be the only one experiencing issues with the S3 and AllShare PC. I'm downloading a copy now, and will let you know.

Hopefully we can welcome you to the world of Samsung one of these days :) I am trying very hard to hang on for a blue one, but struggling very much currently :D

Now I am probably getting an earful after this statement: My SGS1 beats the Iphone4S if you ask me. Have 2 friends with the 4S and seriously would take my SGS1 anytime again before the 4S. My screen is awesome, its works beautifully and this from a phone almost 1.5 years older than theirs :wtf:
 
Anyone switched over from an iPhone 4 to the S3? I am on the fence whether I should take the leap over to the S3 :p

I very much doubt that you'd be disappointed - unless you really like IOS.
 
Does the S3 use a substantial amount of data compared to a iPhone. I typically use my phone to check mail, occasional browsing. Would I see any major difference?

I did. I take my iPhone 4S out of the box every now and then to have a look at it. Compared to the S3 the 4S is much better what build quality is concerned. It also looks more stylish.

But comparing the two I like my S3 more. A lot more.

Why??

1. The screen is bigger
2. The storage is expandable
3. It works with all my computers without needing to install specific software. (to copy stuff to and from the phone)
4. The battery is much better and you can remove it if you have more than one.
5. It's faster
6. The screen is better
7. Android OS is better than iOS in my opinion
8. etc. etc. etc. etc.

Maybe I can differ from you on this statement because the S2 doesn't even beat the 4S. How can the S1 beat it? (Talking out of experience) Maybe OS wise but not the phone itself.

Yeah the build quality is all I can really fault the S3 on so far. But it can't be all that bad? The bigger screen and option to customize does appeal to me more than the iPhone. I have been using an iPhone since the days of the 3G.

Like I said this is my opinion, I was mostly referring to the screen. The S1 screen is bigger and it appears much sharper when the phones are next to each other even with the S1 setting at the lowest brightness.

They both had issues with the 4S, especially on the centre button in less than a year, I honestly had no issue with mine in the nearly 2 years I have it. They had reception issues, had to jailbreak the phones to loads some of the apps they wanted and therefore void the warranty.

But that is just my experience, like I said I would probably get an ear full :)

Edit: Yes spec show that the S4 screen is better and all the other specification as well, accept the screen size, but like I also said the S4 is 19 months younger technology that the S1. And we could not see that S4 screen was better than the S1 when we compared them. Again other people will differ here :)

Yesterday afternoon I dropped it no more than 30cms onto a concrete bench. The phone still works fine - just annoying as hell looking at a crack on a month-old phone.

The same happened this afternoon, fell not more than knee height. Protected in a hard Cygnett cover. Not a mark or scratch on the phone or screen anywhere but the screen become a dark, nearly black color with a green horisontal stripe on top.
 
Jump to the S3. Got my S3 today and i am in love already. Just need to get a microsim tomorrow then goodbye Blackberry.
