I could have upgraded on 27 May, been waiting for the SIII. So today is the official release date of the phone, MTN says they can only supply me with a price AFTER the 18th of June (corporate client).

Dude, you should seriously be looking at Cell C. They cheaper then MTN even with the MTN corporate discount.
That aside if you still want to go MTN corporate - rather then dealing with the guy/girl who manages your account try contact the corporate contact centre direct (if you haven't done that already). When I was inquiring about the HTC One X, the contact centre had the deals before my account manager.

Yes MTN seems to be a bit slow. The branch in my town said thy will be getting it in July, and another one in the neighbouring town said they will get stock the last week in June.
I got mine yesterday from Vodacom, and loving every bit of it.

You can download it from Samsung's App world, I find it a poor port of the iPad version though.

I find this interesting. 9 million pre-orders for the phone! I think Apple is worried that people won't buy their iPhone this year if they have the GS3

took the plunge, got mine today. what an awesome fone. im new to android, still figuring things out. one thing that irritated the crap outta me was this automatic brightness some apps have. the search and internet app would just go dim
