If you are on JB it is easy but tedious. Settings > Applications Manage r> Open the offending application and untick Show notifications.

Download an app called airpush detector. It will show you which apps cause these notification ads. Then from there you can uninstall them.

Have you tried switching SIM cards (just to see)? My signal is better than any phone I've had in this house, and even better now I have JB.
 
For some reason my battery life has taken a severe knock. I get about 9hrs where before I got 36hrs.

I see in the battery usage, Android System seems to use up to 40% of my battery. Does anyone know what could be the culprit? I'm on JB UK release...

also thinking to change to another release maybe the egypt version. My signal has got terrible and battery isn't lasting as long.
 
Best battery life I've managed so far on my S3 was a CM10 nightly from around mid September or so - If only I could remember exactly which one that was :/

Sorry if this has already been posted here, but for those of us who arent satisfied with multitasking S3 JB this is an awesome mod, make sure you read the requirements and instructions carefully!!

Did it to my S3, had Camera, Opera, Bad Piggies, Twitter, Angry Birds Space and YouTube all going, none of them refreshing when i went back to each :
 
Is anyone using the iBolt car dock for their S3?

The RCA output which plugs into the Aux plug on my car doesn't play music through the car's hi-fi only the phones speaker.

Anyone else have that issue?

Trying to determine whether its a ROM issue or Phone issue.
