Then choose your device model GT-I9305 and android development. There you will see a choice of roms. http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1822

It is very important that you do not flash a rom that was made for the GT-I9300. Make sure its for the International version for your device.
 
When I am at home I use Connectify on my desktop PC to create a hotspot so I can use my ADSL connection on my phone.

My HTC Desire works no issues but my S3 has weird issues(both phones connected to the hotspot at the same time). I figure its a port issue(on the S3), this is why:

In the play store I browse for new apps but when I click download it just times out. Also I am unable to update apps. This tells me the internet connection through the hotspot works, but just not for some operations.

Also Chrome and stock browser intermittently work, but Opera works fine. I assume this is because all Opera connections go through their servers (they have the cool optimization features, to reduce bandwidth)

When using HSDPA/3G/edge everything is fine.

Any ideas?

edit: what does this do? Because mine is disabled. (Android 4.1.2, UK I9300XXELLA)
settings > wi-fi > advanced > check for internet service

Check Wi-Fi sleep policy.

What it does is, if your Wi-Fi doesn't have internet access it'll put you on 3g. Did you try disabling it

Also remove security from connectify to rule it out
 
Got my S3 LTE version Monday afternoon. Up to now it didn't want to register. Disabled LTE under mobile settings this morning, picked Vodacom manually and am registering now at last...

Wish this was done prior to delivery if you're not on LTE (99% of people with these phones?)

Maybe I missed something -- Connectify? Can't you just connect to your ADSL (router?) via the S3's wifi?

Hehe, its fun to watch you guys puzzle it out.
Situation is; ADSL router is too far from my flat (in the back yard, router is in the main house), the ADSL connection runs to my PC by a 30m LAN cable, from the ADSL router/AP.

Anyway, I fixed it. I blame Connectify but I could be wrong. I uninstalled Connectify and rather did it the manual way using these commands:
cmd
netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=allow ssid=”How-To Geek” key=”Pa$$w0rd”
netsh wlan start hostednetwork

Now my devices get an IP from DHCP without a hitch and all my play store issues are gone.

I suspect Nargles are behind it...

This is a handy function. Will it reconnect you automatically once Internet access through that connection is restored? For instance, I connect via wifi to my 3G Router. When the router disconnects, the phone will then detect that there is no Internet access. Once the router reconnects and Internet access is restored, will the phone also reconnect to the router automatically?
 
Just a follow up on my LTE and Galaxy SIII GT-I9305 issues, Autopage activated my Sim for LTE and all issues are gone now.

No idea. I disabled it coz I was in an unstable connection in the router (8ta) so it kept dc. Ask Google. Sure it's common
 
Is there any harm in charging its battery every night or is it better to wait for it to be at a low level first?
