yea i meant will use it, was not clear. I have use it b4 when i transferred from HTC to Samsung, all worked well except system settings, but i think thats due to two different phone manufactures.
Will play (use) it tonight and see how it go's

Paid R7500 mate 9, sold s7 edge 7500 and ja no loss atleast paid R7000 for a sealed s7 edge....

Where do you pay R 7000.00 for an S7 Edge ? unless you bought it used....
I thought you would have waited a few more months and got the Note 8 or S8 Edge...

Expensive way of finding out the grass is not greener elsewhere.
I have a upgrade in July. Wad going to to pay it up to get the s8 when available april/may when available. I just dont know if I want to upgrade just yet. The s7 edge is just that good. Might wait fot the note 8 rather.
I got it 2nd hand. Bargained lady down from 10k to 7k..and ita all legit. Perfect fone. Sje just eventually wanted the money more than holding on

Yes agree with you. I didnt like the fingerprint scanner on the back of mate. Now it looks like the s8 will habe it too. So when phone is lying down.. U need to pick up to open screen... Unless they make a simpler way

How was the Mate 9?
The mate was nice. Beautiful looking. But i just loved my edge too much. The latest emui is nice... But i am used to certain things that samsung has.
Battery is phenomenal got 11hrs sot the one day. Battery is 4000mah and screen omly 1080p so works well
Screen is actually beautiful. Camera excellent too

Very nice. Sounds like Huawei are getting there, nobody who has had the Mate 9 has anything bad to say but they would still rather have a Note 7 or S7 Edge.
It sounds like they just need to do some finer attention to detail and more refining, but they are very nearly there.
The one thing no Phone Manufacturer has over Samsung here in South Africa is Customer Care, but I see Huawei in the not too distant future challenging them.
Huawei have started opening stores already. And i think given sometime they will be very good competition. The mate is only being released is Sa in march so lets see. Also only other thing ia there resale value drops very quickly unlike samsung and apple

So, I just sent my S7 Edge in for repairs under warranty. It stopped reading SD cards a few months ago (which I didn't care about so much at the time) but then the other day I was presented with a permanent neon green line of pixels running down the edge of the display.
Anyone else have any of these issues?
