Not really.

I actually hated the look of the UAG case. I prefer minimalistic stuff. I bought the Pathfinder case in black. Looks pretty sleek.

1/2 a cm? Considering the phone is only about 8mm thick... Thats one deep scratch and one seriously dangerous Zam Buck tin :wtf:

I get annoyed when I pull my phone out and there is pocket fluff on it, never mind putting a hard metal object in with it.

Pfff my LG G4 wasn't this bad and I'm not treating my s8 any differently. Now my s8 screen looks worse than and a 2 year old LG G4.

Even my old Nokia's would never stay in my pocket with keys or anything sharp, in actual fact going back to first phone I have always kept the phone on its own in one pocket.

Samsung mobile care has been discussed, this is the most recent post, read back 3-4 pages before that:

The reason I'm asking is because I see that they state that you need to pay R1000 per smc front glass claim and R300 per smc rear glass claim.
Which sucks but is still better than no cover I guess.

Also if the device falls and the front and rear glass breaks in a single event would it mean your cover will be finished as it would be 2 claims righ?

Did think of getting the G6 but settled for the S8. Great device love it just sad my screen got scratched. I tried getting a glass protector but could not find one.

I'm used to the scratch now. I work in a workshop so I can't expect the device to perfect forever.

I will just make use of the SMC later this year if the screen gets really bad.

If im not mistaken, you have to sign up for the mobile care package within 30 days of purchase of the Samsung S8.

I dont think you can qualify for it anytime after the 30 day period.

I already signed up. I'm going to just submit a claim later this year once the screen gets scratched more.
