I changed my home screen to something and it asked if i want "Infinity Display" so i chose that option, (Cant remember what it was or how it happened) but then i noticed the motion effect was gone, so i tried changing the home screen back to a standard 1, hoping to see the "Motion Effect" tick box, and saw it was not there, tried a whole lot of different pictures for home screen, that i knew had the "Motion effect" option before, and nothing. So i went and checked my default home screen and it said "Infinity Display" i then cleared defaults, i pressed the home button and it asked to set my home screen default, which i chose "Touch Wiz", it said press the home key to apply, which i did.

I then went back to change my wall paper to the 1st 1 i could see, and it had the "Motion Effect" tick box option.

For some reason, im not seeing it now. But, i see that i changed the screen to the standard infinity wallpapers, and when i changed it back it said "Infinity effects will be turned off if you use this wallpaper"

yes, quite correct. If i tilt wallpaper i have montion on wallpaper, not just a static wallpaper Screenshot_20170529-084712.jpg

Wanted to ask any lady owners with a uag cover. I have a fine scratch on the top of phone and need a good cover... But the uag looks so big and bulky in a sense

I saw a member enquiring about this S8 feature, sometime ago.?
I installed Sound Assistant apk(Sammobile) and tested app.
Working great on S8.
In short, it allows you to control 2
different apps to play same time. (of your choice, only S8 models)
Eg You can play a video on phone (sound etc) and play your music app (music) on another
device eg Bluetooth speaker.
This is not to be confused with Bluetooth dual
sound function.

Everyone still excited by their S8's? I'm tempted to get a used one and swap from iPhone for a while.

Really happy with mine; battery life is amazing; after full day of heavy use; still 60 percent left at night.

I have migrated from a galaxy S6.

^this functionality is available without the app.... but I've installed the apk as well, and has some nice little tweaks, and eases the whole dual audio process.

Further app tweak i have done, is volume control button, if pressed, shows media volume bar and not ringtone bar.(plus 5 seconds , floating button for volume control)

SoundAssistant is available from the play store now. As has been said, most of its functionality was already available (including defaulting to media volume adjustment) but it's nice to have it all in one place.

In terms of the S8+, I'm still loving mine. Getting an easy 6 hours plus screen-on-time every day with plenty left before I place it on the wireless charging stand next to my bed. The Always on display makes a great bedside clock! I've defaulted to using the finger print scanner and have no problems reaching it consistently.

I had an LG G3 before and the one feature I really miss is the "knock-on" or double tapping the screen to turn it on or off. Using the fingerprint sensor for turn on has become easy enough but I kept trying to lock the phone by double tapping. Found an app called "double home" which allows you to lock the phone by double tapping the home button, and it seems to be working well.

I have to say, the S8+ is one awesome device. I'm so glad I took it and not the G6.

Just have to get a screen protector, but the screen is so beautiful without it though.
