Its horrible. Well, at least it is for me. Screen responsiveness is shot. Sometimes need to swipe down 3-4 times to get the notification bar down.
 
Does anyone know where to get film screen protectors for the S8? In Durban, if not online.

Ask a vodacom staff member to apply. Also vodacom told me if i wasnt happy i had 1 mnth to come back for a new one aslong as the protector wasnt damaged or cracked. Had to keep proof of purchase with original packaging
 
Do you guys know about the possible lag/stuttering fix by disabling "Apps that can appear on top"? My phone was always fast, but after doing this and switching to Nova launcher, it's in uber-turbo-ultra-fluid-beast mode

disabling everything? eish, that's restricting apps that need it that i use :( e.g. lastpass

Disable everything to start with, and then just re-enable what you need as you use your phone.. only if you specifically notice that an app needs it

Also, this doesn't actually disable the app itself, just the ability of the app to 'appear on top'

How is Nova Launcher on the S8+? I don't know if I want to replace Touchwiz. Or would you recommend it?
 
Soooo I just got a sms stating I'm due for upgrade.

I am still really very happy with my S7 Edge. Those that upgraded to the S8, which one did you go for? battery as good as the S7e?

I am yet to see a S8. I think if I see it I will want it.

Something else that comes into this is that I always seem to get discount pricing from MTN for some reason so chances are I'll pay quite a bit less than advertised (last 3 or 4 phones have been like this). Just makes taking a new phone that much easier.

Running it on the S8. No issues. Haven't experienced any lag or stuttering as mentioned above.
