Is there anyway to disable Samsung Cloud as it is automatically uploading my videos etc. I record, I switched it off in the settings, but it still does it?

Edit: Think I found it, hoping disabling Gallery syncing does it.

restarted phone and seems fine now

How? In that case tell him take out the samsung care insurance. I'm not sure if they inspect the device first. Try claiming after a few months.
Will still be cheaper than having to pay for the repair.
On that note, does anyone here have samsung care?

Bent over to pick his lightie up and it feel from his top pocket. He reckons he had the phone 5 hours in total.
He's not fussed, put it in a UAG cover today and you can't see the rear crack.

Samsung South Africa is one of the first global subsidiaries to roll out this service offering,” said Craige Fleischer, director of integrated mobility at Samsung South Africa.

Each Galaxy S8 smartphone in South Africa comes with a month’s free trial of SMC. To extend the plan, you can use the Samsung Rewards App, which is available from Google Play or the Samsung App Store.

Can I ask who did you insure with and costs? Did you just add it on to your home insurance?
I'm with Santam. I added it but it's specified.
Insured against theft, lost, damage, etc....
R195 per month

What kind of SOT do you get? 7hours here.
When on WiFi the whole day, the battery lasts much longer.

There is a free cover from the Samsung Rewards app. Just redeemed mine. Requires no points.
