Samsung Galaxy S9

Its a great phone but s9plus not that wow over my s7edge
 
I have found the weakness in the MTN system.

I received an SMS from DSV that my phone was handed to them on Thursday morning, saying that they will get in touch to schedule delivery.

Not hearing anything from them, I start phoning around (they have multiple numbers with many of them not in service anymore). This was Thursday afternoon and most of Friday, without success.

This morning I get through to a lady that tells me that apparently they tried delivering my phone on Friday, but could not get hold of me. This is BS, since I had no missed calls of any kind. So my phone was sent back to the vault, somewhere in Johannesburg.

This really is frustrating.
 
This is frustrating. Finally got through to someone at DSV. The phone will only be delivered on Thursday.
 
Okay only thing i am not liking on this s9 plus is the placement of the fingerprint scanner. Mayb i am used to it having had a s8 plus and note 8 but it going to take getting used to and it so small
 
Anyone using the Google Inbox or the Gmail app?

Both apps gives an error"No connection" when trying to sync. Outlook for android connects to the same gmail account without problems and I know it's not a connection problem. Tried with WiFi and mobile data.

I use both, no issues. On both wifi and cellular data.
 
Received mine this morning - midnight black, fingerprint magnet of note...just looking at it, smudges the thing.
Anybody here already source a decent screen protector for the + version...was thinking of getting the whitestonre one - pricey though.
I'd even be happy for a normal plastic one, until i source a nicer one.

Apparently its software or setting. Mine is normal now. Samsung guy said that system settings under volume must also be on. And to get new tones from zedge. Mayb the old ones not compatible.. Dunno

Yes vodacom stores and some mtn have a machine that applies a screen protector. Had mine done. Cost 300 but its perfect. They can also apply skins for back of phone like carbon fibre pattern or clear
 
Only thing. I bought a few themes from the samsung theme store with the s8 and they not there.... Could it be they just need to be attended to bt the designers to work on the s9
 
Anyone having samsung rewards app issues, i cant get mine to update and hence cant claim the freebees.
