what do you have now?
iPhone 5S. It's a little long in the tooth, fingerprint sensor is faulty and the battery is going. Other than that it works perfectly which is pretty good for a phone this age.
It's a good time to upgrade.

Well I like to take photos so a decent camera (honestly the 5S has a decent camera but I'd prefer something faster, with better handling of low-light).
I like the iOS environment and interface and I typically haven't liked that of Samsung (or most Android devices really), but I'm willing to look. I don't need lots of storage, anyone who needs more than 64GB should be introduced to the concept of Cloud Computing.

I had one in my hands about an hour ago. To be fair it was attached to the display so I couldn't hold it comfortably, but I will say one thing. "WOW, AMAZING, BEAUTIFUL, BUYMEE!!!" - just a sampling of words which didn't cross my mind when I held it. Kind of like when Audi release the new A* and you think...hmmm....is that a new version? Looks like the old one but has that new smell.

No, a colleague did. That’s the thing, I’ve not used one for long enough to really form an opinion. Maybe you should send me one from your stock. I’ll use it for a week and then decide what to do.

Anyone get this? Fingerprint unlock just stops working, when going to the settings, this is what i get. Works again after phone retart

I had it happen the last two days. Sometimes the error message doesn't pop up and I can't unlock the phone with my finger.

I have had a camera error. Apparently according to credible forums first updates will be coming out on official release day beong the 16 march. We got the early devices and will get the updates to fix the first lot of niggles

iPhone 8 and 7 are similar, but I wouldn't buy a 7 now, much as you bought an S9 and didn't stick with the S8. Coming from an iPhone 5S, the difference is huge.

This is Africa mate, even the open WiFi hotspots tend to be atrocious. Miss me with Cloud Storage unless it's important documents or important photos i.e. Car accident evidence, or some family pics that are cherished.

Current phone I bought cash, not on contract. So it’ll be a new contract if I go for one. I’m considering just waiting a bit, haven’t really seen any deals that jump at me and I don’t necessarily need to get a new phone right now, I just want to get one before this one actually dies.
