Samsung PS51F5500 Plasma

Nope, can't remember pluging in any black sensor. Worked perfectly out of the box. It does take some getting used to though.
 
Anybody manage to use the STB HDMI port for any other source ie ps3, computer etc? I'm struggling to get the HD PVR to play through the STB port but it works fine through any of the other ports. When I plug the ps3 into the STB port I get nothing and when I use the pc I get a picture but with crackly artifacts. I realised I did not get the IR extender in my box so thats another challenge :mad:

Any ideas?

I had my hd PVR connected to the STB HDMI port and worked fine. Have you tried a different HDMI cable? Seems to be the common denominator and is perhaps faulty or too old?

When I got my amp I moved it to HDMI 2 so I could use the Audio Return Channel (ARC).
 
Does this tv come with the IR Extender included in the box? I bought it last year from Makro and they just advised me that it is an optional extra?
 
Is this model still available or is it EOL now? If it is still available where can I get one?
 
In the LCD and plasma bargain thread two people said Makro still has them.

They are being phased out. And yes, any educated person would buy it in a heartbeat. Two year warranty.
