I pretty sure, if they realize that if they provide a better services (eg VOD, and the infrastructure to support it) at reasonable rates instead of trying to make 200% profit, piracy will drop drastically!

I'm with you. I pirate not to save money, but because of convenience

Sent from a Galaxy far, far away....

If a copyrighted product is no longer available, ie out of print or never released on DVD, I see no reason why a copyriaght should be valid.

It should be use it or lose it.

For example the three series of Seven Days have not been released on DVD nor has the third series of Seaquest DSV So these I would have no qualms in downloading.

Must be that time of the year again where they make some noise and appear to be concerned.

I would NEVER, EVER, EVER buy pirated warez off the street.

I download them myself. That way I can be sure I'm getting only
the finest quality available on the web. :D

+ I'm wholeheartedly against supporting other African countries,
especially since South Africa can barely support itself... :erm:

And let's be 100% honest here: Do you think putting a stop to
piracy is gonna help our economy? Stop greed and corruption
first, then stop piracy!

=Minister of Police Nathi Mthethwa called for strengthened partnerships in dealing with the “scourge of piracy”

AKA, we now share bribes, kickbacks between more of the parties involved.:p

Anybody who buys crappy CAM quality DVDs off the street deserves what they get. They probably won't do it more than once or twice.
Let the fake industry just kill itself.
