SARS E-Filing 2017

There has been some conflicting messages from SARS/Media on this.

I changed my email address and my fax number (for what it is worth), and I did not have to visit a SARS branch.

My understanding is that if you change your ID number, Registration number and your bank details you need to visit a SARS Branch.
Change in address and contact details can still be done via e-filing with no need to visit a SARS branch (?). Maybe someone on here who has done this can confirm

To clarify, you can change bank account details and ID number on e-filing, but you need to physically verify the new details at a branch

I posted a couple of posts back regarding a friend and her IRP5 problems. I saw on her IRP5 that her SB account number was 72482xxxxx which was wrong, it should have been 072482xxx. She changed it on her IRP5 and they still paid her out without having to go to a branch.

This could have been a glitch or not seeing as they paid her even though she requested a correction etc.
 
Finally - refund date on Statement of Account showing as 11 July. About time. :)
 
Thanks for letting us know...i just checked and mine says 11th as well :-D
Was starting to get worried.

This is definately a noob question but where do I see the refund date on the Statement of Account? It only shows the closing balance?
 
Glad the rest are coming through

this still REEKS of a system issue, and not "extra validation" , but , what if next year they pick up a discrepancy? can you tell them to go f@#$%$# off , because last year, they took longer to pay with these extra validations?

Log in to e-filing, if there is a "Statement of account" section on your default screen you can simply request the statement of account there. Alternatively you'll need to click on "SARS Correspondence" on the left hand menu, then "request historic IT notices" and you should be able to request a statement of account there.
 
My Statement of account shows that payment is 11 July and currently shows R0.00 but no money in my account as yet.

correct, it will most likely show 1 - August
