I see no payment date, haven't received verification complete, but have received "return assessed"
Can anyone please tell me what this mean :erm:

No I did not get the letter.

I kept pulling the SOA, and saw the update.

I pulled a SOA at lunchtime today and only now (6pm) did I get an email and sms stating one had been issued, even though it was viewable immediately at lunchtime.

Do they send out an email and sms everytime you request a new SOA?

I finally received a revised assessment this afternoon (submitted on 2 July). They somehow managed to find a crazy load of interest I apparently earned and taxed me on it. Now if only I can find that investment earning me so much interest...

And then nothing ;Anyone else in the same boat?
Also my SOA is Blank is that normal?

Yep. E-filing works in Chrome - the only issue is you can't see anything on the PDFs and have to download and open in Adobe Reader.

You can phone SARS contact center and they will give you details about where the interest is coming from?

Did you buy or sell a properties and was the money in a attorneys trust account? if yes then the interest is from that account.

Just got back the re-assessment notice, very confusing document. To me it looks like the 6.5 i was due has been made 0. I requested a reason for this.

I then however read that you can view a statement of payments etc which reflects the initial value as still owing to me.

So now I am waiting to hear back from the request for reason, or for the payment to me.

it means no changes has been made, check the SOA again.

I re-read everything and came to same conclusion. Still a very complicated form though. Hopefully I'll get my refund soon then

Filed on the 1st. Had documents requested the second, submitted the 3rd. Received the new assessment today. They said it would take approximately two weeks and they were correct. Not too far off.

Ohk..... I have been selected for auditing and its a tedious process.... All have is my salary and my medical aid.... One could swear that SARS is claiming that I am hiding millions.
