SARS E-Filing 2018

Done with filing, but I have been filed for audit. First time. Could be because of my address change?

Where do I see what they want? It says in the notice you will find attached what they want, but that was a pdf?

Can anybody help me with this? If I had no medical aid for a while during a period of assessment and had medical expenses which I covered out of pocket (chronic medication and a couple of doctor's visits, do I have to capture them on efiling?

Just completed mine - requested a calculation but got a note saying SARS could not process my calculation and that I must check after 24 hours... I am not going to submit before I see that calculation.

The result just came back. Will be getting a whopping R 0.41 back... Yippee!

SO I initially filed on the 26th (Got my IRP5), and had an amount of -R7000. Now when I do a statement of accounts, it' R0.00. Does that mean that they have paid the amount owed?

Were you selected for review?

That means your money is on the way ( Sars doesn’t owe you anymore)

I wasn't, no.

I see on the statement of accounts that the money was sent yesterday. I should look more carefully :/

Eh, now I just need to wait for my verification to be completed , hopefully not too long, seeing as I also filed around then, should be front of the queue

Did mine yesterday, not selected for audit, but unlike last year, no Electronic Refund stated on my Statement of Account yet. :(

I submitted on Sunday morning, 1 July. Was selected for Verification and uploaded my supporting docs shortly thereafter. As at present, I am due R57k mainly due to travel claims. My status says "Return-Assessed" however I am still waiting for an updated ITA34 or any further correspondence. Will most likely take some time before someone actually verifies my docs, but I'm hoping it gets wrapped up this week.

Did you have to submit docs for verification?

I had to do the same today. Now wondering how long this might take as they seem to be owing me a nice amount if it is right.

The R0.00 means that the account has balanced and refund has been paid. Takes up to 72 hours to reflect in your account. Don't spend it all at once!

I am waiting now too. Submitted the form today and then got asked for verification docs, so sent those through now to. Now we wait.

I submitted everything the same day, irp5 , medical aid cert, and RA , apparently I made a check box error and that’s why it needs to be verified

How do you request a statement of account? Do I click on Request Historic Notice?

Hi, I received an IT 3(b) from Discovery medical aid, which shows interest accumulated from my medical savings account. My question is: Where must I fill it in on e-filing? I know where to put the contribution amount as well as amount not paid by my medical aid.

Submitted.
Selected for verification.
Submitted documents.
