Just completed mine - requested a calculation but got a note saying SARS could not process my calculation and that I must check after 24 hours... I am not going to submit before I see that calculation.
The result just came back. Will be getting a whopping R 0.41 back... Yippee!
Were you selected for review?SO I initially filed on the 26th (Got my IRP5), and had an amount of -R7000. Now when I do a statement of accounts, it' R0.00. Does that mean that they have paid the amount owed?
I wasn't, no.Were you selected for review?
That means your money is on the way ( Sars doesn’t owe you anymore)
I wasn't, no.
I see on the statement of accounts that the money was sent yesterday. I should look more carefully :/
Eh, now I just need to wait for my verification to be completed , hopefully not too long, seeing as I also filed around then, should be front of the queue

The R0.00 means that the account has balanced and refund has been paid. Takes up to 72 hours to reflect in your account. Don't spend it all at once!
I submitted on Sunday morning, 1 July. Was selected for Verification and uploaded my supporting docs shortly thereafter. As at present, I am due R57k mainly due to travel claims. My status says "Return-Assessed" however I am still waiting for an updated ITA34 or any further correspondence. Will most likely take some time before someone actually verifies my docs, but I'm hoping it gets wrapped up this week.
Did you have to submit docs for verification?
I had to do the same today. Now wondering how long this might take as they seem to be owing me a nice amount if it is right.
Nobody? Can anybody help me with this? If I had no medical aid for a while during a period of assessment and had medical expenses which I covered out of pocket (chronic medication and a couple of doctor's visits, do I have to capture them on efiling?
