Was actually excited for tax season to start, have sizeable refund due, logged in to submit for assessment only to realize I have to wait some more.

Please don't flaunt your wealth hereBy this time last year I think I had already spent my refund. Probable bought a Snickers and a packet of chips.
Sorry comrade. In a moment of weakness I splurged on the Snickers rather than a BarOne. I await a visit from the political commissar to correct my thinking. Please don't flaunt your wealth here
When does provisional tax need to bone by? last year it was due by end Aug I think?
Id like to do my last year tax return together with my provisional for this year(yes I sit at a branch and do them there)

Does this mean one cannot file Provisional Tax in August this year?
Ah thanks - it's getting really confusing with their shifts of dates, and little info for Provisional Tax payers. The tax stuff listed is only for the current year, not new year (prov tax).
I am personally submitting mine last week of aug (for march to aug)-> Provisional tax leg 1

Do you think they're opening it in batches?Signed onto the eFiling website this afternoon to check last year's return and saw that my 2020 return was issued. So I guess I will just complete manually. This year I have to declare rental income. Oh joy....
Mine also been loaded.
EDIT : Did a calculation. Minus means they owe me money right? Tempted to submit...
I'm doing the sameI'll wait to see if you guys get refunded this week.
Filed a correction on my return this morning, refreshed the data and all 3rd party data (IRP5, medical aid, interest free savings account etc) now appeared on my return. I resubmitted, and a new assessment was immediately issued. The audit flag changed from Yes to No. Will check my statement of account tomorrow morning to see if a refund date is visible.Did not have to click anything to generate the return. The return was already generated. Just not populated with any IPR5 details. My supporting documentation was submitted on 9 June. Still waiting for refund.
