SARS E-Filing 2019/20

Has any body has a resolution on the 4482 L/S amount missing issue.
I did have a lump sum paid out in February so from what I've gathered it has a IRP5 for the current tax year. However according to SARS a directive needs to be placed on a IRP5.
I've been in contact with SARS who cannot help me as they say The fund/employer will have to submit an IRP5 for the 2020 directive.
However when I contact the fund they say that the IRP5 is not available now because the lump sum was paid out in February.
"Therefore, the IRP5 for your gratuity will only go under 2020-2021 tax year of which we can only print next year once it is available on system."

If anybody can point me in some direction it will be greatly appreciated.

If it was paid out and cleared before 1 March 2020, its then now due for the last year.

Ok, then its part of next years tax, nothing to worry about now. Just make a huge note for next year.
However when I try to submit my tax return then I can't because the system gives the 4482 L/S amount missing error

So I submitted last week Tuesday. Was immediately selected for audit as per usual and asked to submit docs which i did. Sunday I got an email saying an ITA34 has been issued and I can view it on efiling. However when I log in I do not see anything new. The only ITA34 is the original one created on the Tuesday. If I check the status of my return it says delayed as I am selected for audit. On the page itself for the 2020 assessment the current SARS status says Return -Assessed and I can view it on my profile only I don't seem to be able to. Really odd.

I helped my parents, and had the same, they got an SMS indicating there is a new notice, yet when you log in there is nothing.

Finally got my notice today saying its complete and no further adjustment will be made. Nothing in my bank account yet but hopefully that will arrive soon. So it took them 2 weeks to finish the audit.

Submitted via TaxTim last week, paid today ... Nice. 14k back and no audit. Now to do to wife's one. Expecting 38k back but have a good feeling she will be audited ..

Whenever you have a pension or provident payout e-filing never does a calculation, but you can still submit.
We getting same error, but 3901 was for Lump sum payment from Employer as company closed, and getting same error when submitting ""Please note that SARS will not process the return, There is a finalised tax directive processed but no lump sum amount is declared on the return. Please contact the Fund administrator/Employer to rectify the error and submit the rectified return." even though the lump sum is on the IRP5, and the directive number is there...... I see that error was supposedly fixed 4/8/2020 on SARS FAQ's but not sure what to do? Ex- Employer also does not know what to do

Not really. Sars might surprise you! Done my wife’s! R64k back, not audited!

Just a general complaint. I thought Satrix would autofill the fields dealing with my Satrix investment automatically. Nope. I got a polite message back saying please do it yourself.

My wife's is also coming back in that range. too scared to submit - feels wierd to have such a big refund but it is 100% legit! maybe I will submit and see what comes back

No worries.. you are right to be careful. If in doubt. you can engage with us via the SARS Twitter account.
I have been battling with this same issue. Something is missing and we don't know what. It might have been a payment but directive was done before end Feb. Not sure. I am sending to email. I'd really appreciate some assistance. No one seems to be able to tell me. and I have emailed several times, receive case numbers but no reply... since september.

My issue, after 3 months, was eventually fixed by Momentum. It then took 2.5 weeks before the "refresh" was actually updated on SARS side. You must ask employer to double check that all codes and details used when they requested the directive is the same as on the IRP5, including the actual directive number.

The flash player being discontinued at the end of this year, is this the same flash that e-filing requires to work?

Anyone know what the following code means: 4478 - IRP5 Tax Directive Invalid No? This comes up when i try do the calculation.
Good day was your problem fixed. I have the same problem, but the fund takes its time to correct and I still can't file my return.

Yeah it was sorted out (not sure whether it was SARS or my employer). It wasn't related to a fund, it was related to share incentive scheme of our company.

Messaged hither and yon continuously (Satrix and SARS) and I'm STILL waiting for someone to get back to me about my Satrix TFSA. Satrix hasn't entered my TFSA 4219 details and I'm not allowed to edit/delete add to that entry.

...How important is that info and can I submit without it? I made 1 contribution of R4000 last year.
