SARS E-Filing 2020/21

Me. But it also took my return from like R16K due to me to like triple of that. I doubt they will win will here as my stuff is all verifiable. d

I believe employer reconciliation closed end of June {70% certain of this} (i.e. HR had until then to submit and ensure things are ready for now). They have a legal obligation to provide you the info. I would simply email them reminding them of their responsibility as failing which you will have to report them to SARS for non-compliance or hampering your ability to truthfully reflect your income statement.

HR can be massive po**** at times. Most times really but we pretend to like them.
Thank you

Sars is asking for purchase contracts on the 2 vehicles I had a claim on for travel.
The one has been sold and was purchased privately... I have like copies of when registration was put in my name etc. but no purchase agreement. Now what?
They are looking for the Value of the Vehicles.

If they do a field inspection then I might be screwed.
Lol, I watched The Accountant this morning, highly recommended (I don't particularly enjoy fiction movies but this was good). Anyway, there is a scene in there that reminds one, how you phrase things is important: what I suspect you mean here is if they decide to do a field inspection, you might need to take a day to prepare your stuff for verification.

(Not like you have a printer to keep physical copies. So you'd need to prepare that for example). I do not suggest you misrepresent the size of your office, more so if you don't have the remote office space. Remember they can check Deeds records to confirm the size of the house. In my case, for example, they'd see 69sqm - I do have a wooden outbuilding (7m x 1.5m) which serves as my office. Knaaa'mean? 10.5sqm/79.5sqm = 13.21%

Maybe if someone who passed a WFH expenses audit can highlight what items they claimed, it could help others.
I'll do so - I expect the outcome in my verification/audit then. I used the following documents (for now):

Docs:
1 - Employer IRP5 - Feb 2021.pdf
2 - Allan Gray IT3(s).pdf
2 - TymeBank.pdf
2 - IT3B OM.pdf
3 - Discovery Medical Certificate(s).pdf
4 - Employer - Office Closure Letter.pdf
4 - Employer of Home Office - 30_06_2021.pdf
5 - Home Office Expenses.pdf
6 - August Rental.pdf
6 - Telkom - Dec 2020 Invoice.pdf
6 - Alarm - ADT Failure Rework.pdf
6 - ADT -Installation Invoice-CT.pdf
6 - TAKEALOT - Invoice.pdf
6 - Electrical Work.pdf
6 - Water and Elec.pdf

I couldn't give them x12 on invoices hence I gave them a sample of each. I was bored yesterday, looked at SARS recently awarded tenders - they have industry backup to verify claims and perform forensic audits, whatever you do, don't lie lol (See RFP 52/2018 in 2018 – 2020 Awarded Tenders to be precise).
Also, people are getting paid megatons to perform basic stuff!!!

EDIT: Everything I say is a pile of twak; I'm not a tax pro. Just a dude with a cheque I'm hellbent on collecting lol

Submitted last Thursday.. Was auto verified.. Still have not received refund.. Should I ph them?

You are missing rates and taxes. Thats one of the big ones for working from home claims

How exactly do you get a Takealot invoice? I only have the emails they send to say that an order has been paid for and when it should be delivered.
My Account -> Invoices.

For Marketplace Sellers (3rd parties selling on the platform), you might find you need to click on "Request Invoice" which allows you to message the Seller to provide you one.

Does anyone know what supporting docs I could use for prepaid electricity purchases for WFH claim?
I'm a renter. Usually purchase prepaid through the fnb app.

received my Verification complete with no adjustments letter but under refund status it still says been audited.

Generate a list of the purchase history? Alternatively, if you have access to the rates (Electricity usage is indicated at the bottom of the document).

No. Payment date is officially month end normally ( check your assessment, it will have a date ). You can spam your statement of account and it will update once loaded but until that date has passed, they wont be interested. Its normally paid well before then though, couple of days post approval of assesment.

Reason I asked is because some members here had already been credited within 3 days:)
