Same. And I found out because SARS sent an email to me with my assessment as a PDF attachment. That's new!I've been auto assessed. Getting back almost the same as last year
In the past they always sent an email and SMS telling you to login to view important information. I like just having it in my inbox and not having to go their site.
No sms received but my assessment looks all good and has a payment date of 1 July so we'll see.....
@boomslang Did you also get an email? If yes, did you log on to efiling to accept or is that not necessary?

So I logged in, clicked "view auto assessment" but then it should have taken me to where I can check and accept, but it took me to the Q&A page where you create your tax return. Eish!

Didn't receive any emails from SARS.
So did you get an sms and then log on to the efiling site?
No sms or any communication. Only logged into efiling, viewed my auto assessment and submitted the return. Received my ITA34 after about 20min. Luckily not selected for verification.
Sounds like you submitted a return, not accepted an auto assessment.

Same here. It appears that the option of accepting or disputing is not there anymore. You can only ask for reasons why you owe them or why they owe you.

Mine's also greyed out, basically looks like the data is starting to process so just let them do their thing and check in about a day or two.Tried mine again, still grey’d out

Did you select claim deductions on the first or second page?
Once you say yes it adds a deductions page. Should be on there. I did see it somewhere.

I recall mine last year... if things are read only, it means 3rd parties still need to upload their side.
I got 2 tfsa sections that was wrong, read only, and it took months to sort out

If last year is anything to go by, I will also be waiting for the season to open! I waited an extra 2 months due to the fact that I submitted before the opening.
