SARS E-Filing 2020/21

I opened a Tax Free savings account with ABSA last year, so I'm supposed to get am IT3S certificate right? Their app can't locate a certificate for 2021 year. Anyone else have this issue? I think this is the only outstanding document I need before I can file.
Not with Absa, but sygnia messed up in my case by not having correct RA contribution amount. Following up with them now - thanks to @zerocool2009 for that suggestion.

Meh. Was supposed to be refunded tomorrow, but now they've reversed that, and want to verify again.... FML
Same with me. but they want to verify my 2020, not 2021 :-( I uploaded all of the docs and the waiting game has started....

You don't see it anywhere. Just have to wait...
Request a statement of account. If your refund has been scheduled, the statement of account will have a zero balance, and there will be a line item "Refund" with a date. The date is the day the money reflect in your account,

When I log onto efiling there is nothing loaded for 2021, are the systems behind ?

Did you request it? The first page you get to shows historical returns so will show up till 2020, you go to the left menu, can't remember exactly where, but somewhere you request 2021 and then it gets added to that front page.
Generate capital gain/loss missing? I don't see a 4250 for my allan gray ITC3(c).
This is never auto populated for me - in the wizard I state I need to add capital gains (disposed of assets or something like that) and then the fields are available to populate.

I'm still considering claiming for home office - doing some calculations to decide if it's worth it and the extra hassle that comes when I sell oneday.

Question though - when calculating % of home used for office space is it the size of my office vs the size of my entire property, or just the size of my house building?

Thanks couldn't find it but downloaded the app clicked now its on my home page online

Submitted Wednesday, got paid today, no audits or verification required. Details and amount refunded were the same as before pretty much.
Wife's one is showing she's due a refund like double what she normally gets so expecting questions - don't know if her resigning and so being unemployed for a portion of the year has any impact on things.

It should, the employer would have calculated tax for a full financial year and deducted per month, so the tax deducted to the income received ratio will be higher than it should have been. My understanding.

When clicking the "REFUND STATUS" button is says "No Refund Due"
IT34 shows a refund amount.

I received a letter on the 30th to say that the verification was completed with no adjustments.

I guess I need to wait for the refund then.

I was also. then I decided to leave it as I had sold up during the year and didn't feel like all the hassle to figure all the numbers out just to make a few extra k

I am bit confused - my account balance on my SARS profile is negative after submitting my 2021 return, but according to SARS I won't get a refund?

Seems to be in the same boat.

But my Statement of Account says "Refund 0", but then "Refund Amount" says the amount.

Wonder for if we are not eligible for a refund for some reason?

I've been selected for verification for the last 6 years.
Maybe it's because they always owe me about 30K+ :cautious:
My Medical Aid certificate didn't link to my return, so I filled it in was selected for verification, I submitted the document but how long does the process usually take before the pay the refund, or is it really the whole 21 days?

The last three times mine has taken 5 to 7 days and then another few days before refunding, So that they can get a extra bit of interest :cautious:
