I have a logbook so request for verification is always expected.
However, this year for the first time no immediate ITA34 notice after submitting :unsure:

Anybody on Easy Equities? How do you check on the IT3 form which transactions qualify for local gain/loss? The SARS form doesn't allow for more than 10.

EE issues separate tax certificates for USD equities and ZAR equities so all your local gains and losses should be reported in the ZAR tax certificate. Both the USD and the ZAR certificates tell you what source code to use in your tax return. You only need to report all the gain and losses per institution, not per transaction, so you'll only need 1 slot in the return to do that.
 
For the first time in 17 years - no need for audit after every time I had to supply documents. seems like they now have most sources of info they need and the odds and ends does not matter that much, as i had claims for additional R6000 that is just allowed where every year i had to supply info
 
Needed verification again.
Every year its the same. Last year was fun when they refused to accept the banks IT3B form which clearly shows the interest paid on each rental property.
I had to upload 12 months of statements for each rental property.
The year before was accepted no problem, so its a lottery how this will turn out

It seems I have somehow dodged it this year as well for the first time in years.

Have never seen this status before, I couldn't even generate a calculation. Has anyone encounter this status before. Generally when I submit within minutes there is a request for documentation for verification, not this time.

Got a notification that SARS has issued me a IT34 notice. No idea why. I've already done my filing and received a refund.

The system wasn't working this morning so I couldn't see what gives. I do see the correspondence issued to me is October 2022...lol.
Only issue I have is they didn't refund me for a office chair I needed to work at home. No explanation nothing. But I wouldn't even know how to dispute this.
