Sweet! A day after me - well I submitted on the 28th and the documentation pretty much on the same evening.

Assuming the same turnaround times as you, my letter should come through tomorrow? But can be up to 21 days which is 27 July for me. I hope they don't annoy me with additional info requests.
 
Need to put this warning out there.
I was busy with the wife's itr. Saved it as I was looking for info on the RA.

Yesterday I logged in to find Sars had removed what I had done, created an auto assessment and fully submitted it. No approve or decline. The thing is they never included the RAs which had been on their system.
We now have to resubmit and basically dispute
After talking to my accountants, they said they are seeing this with multiple of their clients.
If you auto submitted go back and check.
This year you don't get an option to accept or reject the auto assessment. It is fully submitted and if it is wrong you only get 40 days to object.

This fiasco would have deprived the wife of r6k in refunds

Also submitted Friday, nothing as of this morning either... Hope they haven't run out of money already!

Doesn't help phoning them. They will just always give you the same info as the portal. They can only really help you if you have a query on missing documentation or if you need to know how to fill something in. But if the portal says 1 August you will get you payment ( for example ) the call center will say the same thing. So you really just wasting time phoning if the info is on the portal.

Yep .. I am in a bit of the same boat. Got the auto-assessment SMS on the week-end. Logged in and noticed my one IRP5 is missing (naturally it is for a US based company and it is a long week-end there, so could only get hold of them yesterday). So I click edit - to try stop the auto-assessment and it basically says "nope all our stuff looks right .. " and then says an error occurred. I can view the assessment but clicking edit does nothing (despite showing a new assessment)

Woke up this morning to the SMS from SARS paying out a huge refund (cause of the missing IRP5) - so now, despite my best efforts to stop them, I have to now log a dispute and try sort this mess out myself and try repay the money (lol) StupidAccountants & IdioticSars = bad combination

So yeah .. annoying you can't just immediately reject the assessment.
 
I was also chosen for an Audit, despite having nothing major change from previous submissions.

I think SARS is trying very very hard this year to part with as little money as possible...
 
Just an updated : I submitted my return Friday ( 1 July 2022) still haven’t received my refund - called the call Centre this morning - was told my refund was blocked - had to verify my banking details again. "Banking Details: Lifting of special stopper/Bank Detail Update"
Anyways documents submitted now.
 
Hi Everyone. I submitted my return on Friday. I have a substantial refund due and was not chosen for audit. However they keep doing electronic refund and then electronic refund reversal as per my SOA...Third day they did a reversal in a row. Please help if anyone has info?

Banking details correct?

Check under the registered details section on e-filing, otherwise you would have to phone SARS. I was on hold for 2 hours the other day and while I was being helped by the consultant the line got cut....

How do you see the SOA ?

HI, yes i made no changes whatsover and when I checked it said all my details were compliant. im holding currently !! OI VEI!

you need to request your statement of account...the little pictures in the top right corner when you log in..the one in the middle lets you request your statement of account.
