SARS E-Filing 2021/22

Logged into efilling yesterday and everything was pulling in correctly (IRP5) logged in today and Ive been registered to pay Provisional Tax and cannot find the return I started yesterday?

Edit: something weird going on tried to request a statement of account and getting this - "This tax payer is not registered for income tax"
 
That 72 hours refund thing is BS. I waited about 2 weeks last year for my refund and it has been almost 5 days now since submitting this years.

Well the simple answer is to submit all out of pocket medical expenses that were never submitted to medical aid to SARS when you file. They will decide which portion to refund. Only note that you need evidence of this so invoice from health provider and proof of payment. The other thing is if it is a non prescribed medication they will not pay but an easy way out of that is if your medical aid allows you to buy non prescription drugs you pass all those through medical aid and SARS refund a share or medical aid.

What about Dr visits and blood tests that were needed for an operation (no msa only hospital plan) so paid cash and the person is retired? What can one do?

Checked my SOA this morning and it had changed and given a refund date. Also submitted on the 1st. Have to mention though that I did spend all day yesturday on hold and eventually spoke to someone at 4pm. :eek:

What did they say when you spoke to them or what did you need to change?
My SOA just has that 34 in the column and no updates since the 1st ...

I'm a 16. Would be cool if there was some sort of listing which defines these transaction reference codes
 
Ok so just got confiirmation that I do not need to submit anything, there was a glitch in the system so should be paid out by Tuesday latest. Lets see what happens
