SARS E-Filing - Can't pay PAYE/UIF - SARS date issue

I've noted that Windows 7 is no longer supported by efiling.
Menu navigation still works, but as soon as you try to request documentation or open a form it conks out

I exclusively use Chrome.

Some staff members use Edge.

I loaded a bunch of payments for clients yesterday.

If a penalty was imposed on late payment, keep the screenshots you took yesterday and apply for a remittance of the penalties and interest.

If the credit push function doesn't want to work it's best to resort to a manual (EFT) payment.
Thanks for advice. I downloaded full screenshots and filed a complaint - so am ready for battle regarding penalties.

I am using Windows 10. While we are on the subject of documents conking out, what causes this error? Why can we not simply open a document? You have to save, and then pray that it opens as something you can read. Makes no difference if you use Adobe or Foxit - same problem. What do SARS IT do that makes everything just "not work"?

My apologies for replying late to this.

A complaint won't suffice. You would need to lodge a formal dispute. (Request for remission).

Regarding this - I download the files and save them to storage and open via Adobe - no issues. I only experience that error if it opens in browser. I haven't encountered it recently - I guess it's the habits I have got accustomed to when I use eFiling. I also don't use the Adobe addon for Chrome.

Let me know if you need help and are still struggling.

How long does it take to get a response to an RFR? I filed a dispute over 2 months ago, and still no response. Status is still "Sent to SARS".

Unfortunately it's 60 business days.(~3 months)

After the 60 business days has lapsed you can escalate the case.

After the escalation time period has lapsed, you can lodge a complaint.

Email [email protected] with the case number for your dispute to escalate it.

Also check the SARS correspondence tab to see if any letters were issued. In addition to that click the Query Status button when you open the dispute page.
