Hi guys quick question.. On mobi site it says - - 11c on SOA.. but on sars website it says R-1860..please explain?

I would always trust the website. Request a calculation from there and go through the calculation table and check what exactly is giving rise to the refund amount, if indeed you are due one.

Quick one.. So I updated my RA on the website but not on the app.. Does the website not update the information on the app as I see the I go is not on the app.. Do we need to do both?

The data should save across all of them, that's the point. But given that tax season has just open, maybe their servers are under a bit of strain.

Rather just do your filing from one place to be safe and make that's the website. I've used the app and it's ok but there's no way I'd do something as important as tax from a mobile app.

Thank u I will take your advice.. Will give them a call on Monday to make sure I submit correctly
 
I'm trying to increase the number of rental properties, but when I enter the new number, it overrides to the previous, lower number. Any advice?

Try a different browser or private/incognito mode?

Worst case, try the app and see if the changes sticks from there.
 
After receiving an auto assessment I re-submitted my return by adding laptop depreciation as a deduction. Upon re-submission it triggered an efiling "rejected" status and a message that manual intervention is necessary to complete the assessment. Has anyone else experienced something similar?
 
Thanks for the advice. Must be a bug -- can't change number of rental units on app either.

Mine was not showing, I added it manually and submitted. SARS is now requesting supporting documents for the contribution.

Mine going good so far. 99% of my return was prepopulated. Calculation shows a rather large return due to medical expenses (above medical aid).
First time in 5 years that I've been able to submit my return on the first day because my previous employer had a tosser for an accountant who screwed up all of our IRP5's.
 
Nice only had to add Disability expenses, and smooth sailing, now waiting for the money to hit bank
 
Guys. Anyone claimed for solar panel installation? How do i go about it?
