Did you book an online appointment / phone call online to speed up the process - I had to do it last year, appointment was about 20 days later, lady from SARS phoned me earlier to confirm appointment and when she realized it was just a verification she did for me.

Just make sure you attach supporting document to the appointment before you do, i.e proof of address, stamped bank details, and you holding a picture of your ID.

Phoned several times now. Every consultant I've spoken to has said nothing they can do, I must wait the 21 working days

SARS Twitter is flooded with people complaining about payment reversals.

Seems like stalling tactics to me.

Because that's how it is nowadays. They seem to want to revert back to days long past where you had to go there to sort stuff out.

There may be a simple solution to this retirement fund nightmare as it seems SARS didn't receive the recon from the admins.

The okes that are struggling to submit, I can help you fix this with the following info:

- IRP5 issued by fund admin
- Directive issued

Thanks for the offer. I'll first wait to hear what feedback I get from the fund admin. All documents were submitted to SARS by my employer. I do have the Directive, but not the IRP5, I will have to request it from ex employer, which probably will take a few days. I can see the IRP5 info on the IRT12.

Thanks, I haven’t tried to submit, I have the tax directive off eFiling but not the original IRP5, still waiting for Sanlam to get back to me.

Submitted on Wednesday. Paid today. Luckily no reversal, FNB.
