Scooters.

I must say, I am looking forward to it, only two wheeled thing I've ever used is a bicycle.

Still have to get gloves, a helmet, and a jacket though, and holy ****, that stuff is not cheap.

Buy a good helmet! When I came off and cracked my collar bone, my head smashed on the tarmac. I don't know if I'd be around to tell the tale if I had a crappy helmet or no helmet!

Try keep up, I'm only picking it up on Monday. :D

Looking forward to it, especially with the upcoming fuel hike.

Grief man, get on with it already, what model is it, a 10cc??
Fuel is definitely starting to be a game changer. If I had my way, i'd buy one of these

Definitely worth a watch... check out the enormous boot and bonnet storage space in this thing:

I had a Go Moto, never really gave me any problems. Oil change is the only thing you'l need to do

I'm also thinking of getting one soon.
Why did you choose the Sym over a Big boy / Gomoto or other brand?

Because apparently, the cheap Chinese scooters literally rattle themselves to death.

The SYM brand has a much better reputation, in general, as best I could fathom.

Scratch that, the ****ing thing died six hours after I picked it up...

Luckily, quite by chance, it broke down as I was riding by the dealership.

This does not instill much confidence...

Good grief.... sorry to hear that! Let us know how the dealership is. That's the crucial bit.

Demand a brand new one.

Also, with scooters and bikes, being aware on the road is different to a car. Much more to remember. Join Think Bike and sign up for the noob commuters run. Well worth it.
