Screamer ADSL

can't wait for these new IP's to come out.
i've found that when more than one pc browses the internet in my house the connection slows down. anyone else experiencing this?
 
Anyone getting a strange redirect to Google SPAIN instead of Google South Africa [when searching in google] ? I'm not sure if it's Screamer's IP that are being detected incorrectly or Google being funky...
 
Mmm ... dunno if anyone else is experiencing the same thing. Since this evening Google has been redirecting me to www.google.es. And I don't read Spanish all that well.

EDIT: And diabolus beat me to it. But at least I am not the only one.

Yeah, I know the /ncr thing, but it's still a hassle if you don't remember. Or, in my case, have the default Firefox home page.
 
Had the same thing with Google yesterday. And this morning I'm not getting anything at all. Zip. Nada. Had to switch to my other ISP. AGAIN! Without fail, I've had to do this at least once every day for the last few weeks. *sigh*

Google Issues

Hi, We have run the tests to Google.com and we are definately getting and routing to the English language site
 
Yeah, Google thinks I am Spanish as well...

It's only when I use my Firefox built in Google search box thingie :p If you go to manage search engines and add the google.com (English only) one, it fixes it...
 
We have loaded the new IP's and is currently running both, during the course of the day your IP's should after logoff / logon start showing the public range. it's not a quick process however if all continues to work as is it should be completed by the end of today. 384K pool has started then 512 etc..
 
Just switched back to Screamer a little while ago, and still nothing's working. Have been using my other ISP since this morning.
 
Would getting a static IP allow me to have my ports forwarding correctly, especially on my Wii as the connecting keeps booting me?! Or shall I just wait till I get in the public ip pool (edit: I rebooted my modem, and have a new IP, woot! Will let people know how it goes)

Hi whever111, please send a PM with your user details, when you say nothing is working are you talking about the IP only or complete service?

ip changed since last time i logged on, torrents WERE dead 0-10kb because seeds we're low

they are FLYING now...

I am getting a full line speed, it's moving.

And Well Done for putting someone on the forums to listen to our concerns, it really does help alot.
 
And now the upstream is ****ed properly thanks to all the torrent tards
