Screamer ADSL

Browsing actually so bad I think I might vomit. And its not a DNS issue cause using other DNS actually worsens it in some cases.
 
Weekends are such a waste, they break things on Friday then only get back to it on Monday... It's like a big **** you to the non-business users :p
 
i would be really stranded if I didnt have backup in the form of Afrihost and G Connect.
 
Browsing just shot up a tad... not to sure if it's just me or what's happening, uploading still very very slow

connection is dead. took me 5 mins to load this page.
speed test takes forever to load, and then times out on the latency test! i can't do anything with this connection
anyone else experiencing the same problem?

my screamer adsl usage site won't work...anyone else having this problem?
im also trying to download a torrent using Vuze. it is still showing a yellow face which means that i still have a NAT problem. i thought this problem would be resolved with the public ip's?
are there any setting i have to change on my router or in Vuze?

you need to open the ports specified in vuze on your router (tcp and udp) if you've done that then it's probably still an ISP NAT issue
 
Torrents are dead. Well not the downloading, but uploading is teh suckz0rz.

Browsing still kinda wonky to... Guess Monday it is for issues to be sorted out?

Well I don't know what "upstream maintenance" they were supposed to be doing today, but the upstream is still completely broken.
 
I really don't know about this Screamer account. Me thinks me gonna have to ask for a refund.
Seriously though, I have not been able to use this account for 14 days now. I am currenlty using my Afrihost account almost exclusively. (even for my downloading)
Whats the sense in having a damn uncapped account if you can't use the bladdy thing.......!!!!!

ditto. i am on the same page now - have not been able to do anything for a few days now.
I also topped up Afrihost (2 for 1 special) on saturday.

It is also a big hassle to keep on changing acct details in my router/modem.
 
i have found the specified ports in Vuze, but I can't seem to find anywhere to enter them on my router. I have a Mega 200VWR (supplied by Telkom)

Switched from DC, nothing could have been worse than that experience, now Screamer is really letting it all fall apart. Was pleasant a few weeks ago. Please let WebAfrica's offering be similiarly priced, it's my only hope now :)
 
Alright, so this weekend has been a bit of a mixed bag this side. Connection flies for around twenty minutes or so, and then crashes... pages show an error and don't load a damn thing. Would love to show a speed test, but that won't load now after several refreshes. Basically, any browsing function's go snail and plain 'ol downloads seem okay. Please, screamer... I may just scream.
