my browsing really sucks. cannot even open up mybb page properly.

i would like to see what their next update says re what has been happening.

LoL~ looks like Howzit has turned his back on us. As for SP... well 2 posts and he disappears... we know that Howzit and SP are reading this thread... problem is they cant help us so they rather just shutup and watch what we say... lots of noise = problems, no noise, everything is sorted... lmao

If we were living in the states they would be pleading the 5th and resort to quiet diplomacy...wait that sound like our government.... lol... really screamer can you not see the damage you causing by not saying anything to us and providing feedback which Howzit was initially doing??? I suggest you take your finger out of where ever it is put it firmly on the pulse... cause right now its where the sun dont shine!!

Edit: By the way I reckon Howzit & SP are one in the same person.... call it a conspiracy theory but thats my take on that issue... :P
 
I think Screamer should give us unhappy clients substitute accounts such as with Telkom etc until there technical problems is sorted out .

Cause for a fact management of Screamer is reading these threads ,They just keep quiet .SP and Howzit where u guys or let say where are u now???????. {seems to be one and the same person in question}Noticing from the amount of posts Sp has done
This is not a good start for building a reputable company .Business is based on Customer Service and Technical Support
Say goes the Customer is always right .What has happen to that .

If Screamer is using blend of Saix and Seacom backbone ,What not switch on to Saix only till Seacom problem is sorted out .
I doubt they have internal bandwidth problems, it us as the users they are suffering immensely now .

Neither less to say month end approaches and we get billed for Feb which is a slowwwwwwwwww .crappy month filled with time out .dead connections etc .That not fair really ,

Now that our full range of Unlimited ADSL services have been operating for a month I thought it was a good idea to create a thread where we can efficiently update our forumite clients on developments iro our ADSL services.

We will try to repond to all comments and queries that are not already answered elsewhere on this thread or on our ADSL FAQ page (http://www.screamer.co.za/faq_adsl.php). Any questions on our other services such as WiMAX, Voice, Hosting, etc will still be addressed on threads under the appropriate sections on this forum.

I have taken the liberty of reserving a few posts at the start of this thread that we will be updating from time to time with new developments so that you don't have to search through this thread for important updates.

We would really appreciate feedback on the service your are receiving and once a month every member's name who has posted a speedtest to speedtest.net's local and one international site will be placed in a draw and the first name drawn will receive a 6 month credit on the service package they have with us.

Dunno about you, but they won't be billing me for rice crispies.
After this week I've stopped putting money into the account they debit, because at the same time they are giving this worthless service they are trying to bill their old customers 12c per MB for over-use when the website clearly says 3c per MB.
 
We should send out a notice to all the uncapped dsl customers to put a stop order on their payment to screamer... maybe when the funds stop flowing the internet will...

stopping debit orders sounds great, if you have a seperate account. If not? Then the bank nails you if the debit order goes off as an 'unpaid' stop orders however are a different story. I agree though, stop thror cash flow and then we sit back and watch!!!
 
Adrenalin, I just feel that in cases like this, with Telskum, with Screamer and a LOT of other things in S.A. and the world, NOTHING happens unless someone gets into $h!t... Eskom didn't upgrade the power stations until there were rolling blackouts, The highways never got upgraded until the whole damn world was coming to visit.

And now, Screamer will not get back to us until we can get someone pretty high up into a significantly uncomfortable position... so we need to get together and try and cause them some discomfort in a manner they will feel and understand.... maybe if they feel our pain, they will fix the problem...
 
i agree with you. However i guarangee you it will work on the day they said in march. And then we all go back to being 'happy' until the next ramt sessiom we hsbe to have bevause they're 'upgrading' again.
 
Hmmm... I'll wait until after that day before putting my name on the dotted line...

Tho, considering how long Telskum is taking to repair my phone line, it'll probably be after March 10th anyway... ARGH!
 
so, why is no one else complaining now??? Half a day with no one moaning abiut slow speeds?
