I have WiMAX only, which is subject to the same problems with the upstream connectivity.
 
zomg, my torrents we're going at 35kb!!!

and now @ 15kb...

could it be true that we might be getting what we paying for?!?!

close utorrent, browsing is fine, open it, speeds are 5kb... and browsing ceases to a standstill.

what a load of **** this is man.

still being fed mushrooms in a dark room.

same here. my connection has gone south.
and for this paying R 400 pm. Have I lost it?
 
well now i'm back on my phone because the pages timeout. Guess i can be happy i got my 10mb of mail today??? Pathetic. I have to use g connect or another isp.

/going isp shopping now.

Don't know what you getting those speeds on IRG but it's definitely not torrents.
 
Speeds on torrents have been bad since the last week and even today .Does not look Screamer is going to Scream for much longer .If they don't jack up soon and quick.
 
Well I told Screamer that they need to buck up, and they don't reply to any of my emails...

Going to put an official halt on the debit order tomorrow. If they want any money, they can wake up and talk to me like the PAYING CUSTOMER that I am/was!
 
I had no browsing and no downloading available all weekend, call the center today, speak to a supervisor/manager assures me they will look into and they will call me this evening... guess what still waiting... and still the line doesn't work!!!!!!!!!!!! Have to use telkom account to login and browse, this is just not acceptable!!

Just called Screamer and they actually answered the phone... explained the problem to Melvin and he managed to sort my account out.. seems to be cruising now, well done Melvin my first positive experience with Screamer :)

Edit: Torrent speeds are pathetic....2.5kb/s ...unshaped my ass... looks like I will be canceling my account regrettably at the end of this month. I was so looking forward to having an uncapped all you can eat account with dare I say Telkom capabilities in terms of speed from browsing, streaming and P2P... looks like they were on the right path in January and now have gone competely south..... what a crying shame!

wat the windmill is going on i cant see why i pay them for a service i am not getting?

i tried without the my torrent app(bittorent) and still slow slow slow!!!

Has been stable all evening. Just don't start uTorrent (that what I use - might apply to all torrent apps), totally screws the connection up.

That kind of defeats the point, its like buying a new car but dont switch on the aircon because the car will stall.. wtf??.....regardless I am not getting more the 5kb/s on websites had to refresh this page 5 times I kid you not to post this.... screamer right now sucks donkeys balls!

Tomorrow they gonna get it from me... :twisted:
