Sorry I havent been on here much lately but you can imagine we had quite a bit of work to do since the "incident" with Sentech. We are still in litigation with them so I can't say much but suffice it to say we have stabalized 99% of our network and have also made some significant investments in new technology.

One of them is an "advanced profiler" which will allow us to create some fairly tailored packages so that you will not necessarily need to buy a "full time" 2Mgb or 4 Mgb package to get high speeds for some occasional high speed downloading or to get decent latencies for gaming. I will publish details of this "package tailoring" and the way you can price it soon. If you feel you have a specific need that you use our services for but dont want to pay for all the other services or abilities it comes with then please pm me and I will get it through to our profiling team.
Also if you are not experiencing the kinds of speeds you expect please also pm me so I can look into it.
 
i was told there is nothing they can do for me !!! what is strange i used to pick up a signal but no longer - no changes at my premises - i can't understand - anyone can help me understand

i always had that - i truly can't understand - i had issues, they were resolved despite master Friedrich know it all installer from screamer saying that he couldn't help - one weekend - boom - no signal - don't know if wind is the cause - i contacted technical - noted the issue - said they confirmed nuttin could be done so noted from instruction from Friedrich - couldn't understand the logic - was working despite master technie saying it wouldn't work - i still wait - how frustrating .....................
 
Does anyone have the direct contact for any technical manager at screamer - as always no joy from anyone

If you paid attention to this site you will notice that 95% of all posts about Service Providers are from clients looking for advice or complaining about service.

When a Service Providers thread goes quiet that generally means their service is great and they are answering their clients queries.

Talking to the guys at Screamer they are very battling to keep up with demand so you appear to be the only one under the illusion that there are other options that are "way better"

actually, its AVG updates that sit at 125k, but that might be capped on the server side?

Hi Murray

I see that you logged a ticket in Feb and it was resolved to your satisfaction. I have asked the call centre to contact you today and test your connection but as you state it is only on your AVG updates so it could very well be that the download server is only allowing a slower connection.

Although we welcome posts on this site, I urge you to log a ticket when you have a problem because then you are guaranteed a speedy response and resolution.
