Seeking employment, junior developer - how much can I ask for?

Hello All,

I'm a 23 year old (female, not sure if that matters?) junior developer. I have my Matric and have been doing development for 2 years now. Unfortunately I have no tertiary qualifications yet (which I know hurts my chances).

Recently my contract ended and I'm now seeking employment. The thing is I'm not sure how much my experience and skills are worth and how much opportunity there is (for employment) for someone in my position.

Here are my skills (forgive the brevity):

Web (LAMP): PHP5, Zend Framework, MySQL (and obviously SQL), HTML5, CSS3, Javascript (and jQuery).
Adobe CS5: Dreamweaver, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Flash.
MS: C#, WPF, Expression Blend, WCF, IIS, MSSQL

I'd appreciate any advice you could give me.

What type of experience do you have?

Looks like mainly web sites?

What did you do @ the place for 2 years ?

I've worked for 3 companies within a 2 year period. The first was an internship for six months (web/app dev), the second was over a year (web dev and design) and the third was a contract position for four months (web front-end).

I would say I'm better skilled at web development using PHP. I've created websites with it but also back-end and management systems running within Linux. Know my way around JavaScript, CSS3 and HTML5. I used Photoshop and Dreamweaver to slice up designs and layout websites, emails etc.

On the application front (C#), I've worked with services (WCF) that pull data from a database (MSSQL) and helped to create user interfaces (Blend). I've created services and operations, worked with LINQ, data-binding and a bit of MVVM.

Do you perhaps have links of your recent work done ? This is not self promotion rather just visual side to see what you have achieved etc (Only frontend links though ) :D
 
Would like to see a bit of a portfolio myself... You sound quite focused on the presentation-side of things.
 
Normally a junior php dev, my company would offer R15 000 - R20 000 depending on your skill levels.
