You cannot talk about telkom at SGS end of story.

Setup another gaming service were you can, i mean if it impacts on your ability to play then do it!.

Yes, that's the beauty of this forum. Maybe SGS should also try the filter thingy on sensitive words. However, I can report your post as "Bad" since it could be seen as a personal attack :D One thing we're missing though is a spellchecker ;)

It's OK. Can be treated though. Seems it can either be biological in origin (as in runs in the family) or due to environmental factors. I assume it's the latter ?

its a funny thing, finding this thread!
i was about to create one exactley the same.
i have also been "repremanded" by sgs for posting about the "telkom rules"
it is uterly rediculous, it is a shame cause a couple of years back sgs was a cool place to hang out and a cool place to play online.
it is sad that telkom has messed that up for us aswell.

ok, people been saying that SGS is the _only_ place that censors stuff.
You seem to have got round the problem that they Monitor and Censor threads about Telkom.
Then you said that they also censor threads about other gaming servers.
Tonight I installed Americas Army and went off to the Mweb Gamezone server.
What was one of the first messages I received on logging in?
"Do Not Advertise any other Gaming Service or Servers on this server."

Gee damn ..

I have played on servers other than the ones SGS host and well they suck.
High pings no voip ect ect. I commrnd SgS for the service they provide.

No wonder noone bothers with the other server.

Eh, Lordy, no offence but do you even know what's going on there? If you do then you would know exactly why this is happening.

And as for you snakestyles, try and think of it this way: Some people might find it offensive if you keep on swearing the whole time. So they decided to filter it out. Kinda like SGS filters out Hellkom and Telscum to "Telkom of Southern Africa" cause obviously it would offend......... hmmmm? Telkom?

Bare in mind before you start flaming me and calling me a spoilt white teenager that I'm sorta on SGS side of this as I don't want it to stop.

Wasnt really flaming anyone just tying to make a point about censorship. Anyway this place is full of so many "freedome fighter" old Che would be proud.Keep it up ppl you really going to change alot.That is if you stop talking and start acting.

as far as i am concerned snakes' sgs can get fuct, as for everyone that thinks sgs is the be all end all
i dont think so
another servece will start up if sgs dies. its this fear and dictatorship that must go.
i might not have a choice as to where my connection comes from but i do have a choice where i play my games, support telkom pupets... no thanks.

I know Toxin - it took me quite a while and deliberation to actually post the link (becasue of the underlying topic) but what I meant for it to be was to point out to a couple of people that almost all forums have Censorship.
As in this forum where to topic (of the link) is judged to be sensitive by the Admins/Mods, so are topics in the SGS forum.
I reckon Karnaugh actually does say it best in the link I posted earlier :p

(This is not an attack, its an information session)
