Shard on Twilight's Hammer EU is recruiting Raiders, specifically Mages but we will consider other applications based on their merit.

We are currently 6/6 SSC, 3/4 TK, 4/5 MH, 3/9 BT and we full intend getting Illidan before Wrath.

Interested Applicants can apply at www.Shard.co.za

Bosses cleared in the above instances aka Progression

Ahhh ok. Why didn't he just say so? :o

I'm still at level 15 and going solo. So I think it should take another year or so to get to 70'ish :p

If it's your first toon, chill and don't rush. Enjoy it for what it is ;)

Indeed. Your first toon will always be your baby :D

I'm rushing with alt's...getting boosts etc to lvl as quick as possible.

Considering that I only play 4 hours a week, it will take a while :)

And that is the problem too, since no guild will touch me :o

How far can you go on your own?

This is actually my 3rd toon, as I'm still trying to find the right one for me. So far the shaman fits my playing style better.

my warrior is 44. i havent guilded him because it becomes an effort. i play on him to get away from the guild. Any instance can be pugged (getting random players you dont know to run say DM)

I went 1-70 when leveling my EU Rogue.
It's not necessary to level within a guild and quite frankly instancing for gear pre-Outland isn't worth the effort IMO.

Or you can end up like our one hunter last night, just dinged 68 on his first toon and us arsing around in KZ decide it's time to teach him how to do instances XD

Well i have 2 70 chars, a priest and a shammy. I soloed them both up to 70 on my own. If you do need help just /1, you can normally find some random dude to help you..

There seems to be a lot of solo players on the Killrog server, so I think I should manage by grouping with them.

@TheShogun how do you find managing 25 ppl for a raid, I find it somewhat similar to herding cats

Well, I find myself in a very fortunate position of having an excellent Raid Leader who does most of the 25man mid-Raid management.

It takes alot of lies and deceit :p

You lure the retards (erm i mean raiders) with temptations that the massive bosses drop purple candy (not the cheap type that you can farm from PVP) better cooler looking purple candy that will make you famous and awesome.

Eventually they figure out about the candy, thats what you call a burnout.

And you also get the situations where a new person to the guild gets a **** fit when a boss drops a piece of candy and you award it to your off tank who has been with you for ages, and proceeds to have a tantrum about it as his <bleat>loladin deserved it maor</bleat>

Ooh this was after he had been serenading us on team-speak for 1/2 the raid too :P

TBH i prefer the intamacy and dynamics of a 10 man vs a 25 man, never done a 40 man other than AV and/or the shopping spree to Stormwind/Ironforge. Also 10 mans are easier to organise

40mans were the definition of lazyness :p

I dont like 10mans, they are too small for my liking

Pre-tbc 20man raids were nice

Comments like "Who ever hits the gong gets gkicked!" ftw (ZG Panther boss)

My apologies for the the derail :p Join Shard Mmkay!
